If you are starting IV antibiotics for respiratory symptoms then think of UNIFIED-CF!

• Check with your research team or EPR if this patient is already in the UNIFIED-CF study OR in CF-Tracker

• If they are, let the research team know ASAP

• We need to collect blood and sputum samples BEFORE they start IV antibiotics, so the sooner the team know the better

  • Doesn’t matter if they are on oral abx

• Try to bring up for review early in the day, so the research team can collect samples
